Walter, Jesse, Mike and their associate deal with the aftermath of the methyl-amine train heist. Mike is put under increased pressure because he is under constant DEA surveillance, and he along with Jesse begin to have doubts about their ability to continue in the meth business. While Jesse is having dinner with Walter and Skyler at their residence, Skyler reveals she knows that Walter told Marie about her affair with Ted Beneke. Talking after dinner, Walter tells Jesse that Skyler told him she is waiting for his “cancer to come back” and that that he intends to continue cooking meth at all costs, because he is in the “empire-building business”, and that is all he has left.
